What is Students for Life?
Students for Life is “pro-life”, but you might be wondering, what exactly does this mean?
Students for Life is against any and all abortions. No exceptions. Abortion intentionally ends the life of a human being. Therefore, abortion is always wrong. As a Students for Life member, you are expected to uphold this view not only within pro-life events but in all conversations you have surrounding abortion.
Students for Life is a non-religious organization. Though many of our members are religious, you are not expected to be a member of a certain religion to be a part of SFL. All of our arguments are science-based, so you don’t need to have a religious perspective to be pro-life.
National Students for Life
Students for Life of America is an organization found in all 50 states across campuses. SFL does work in many aspects of the Pro-life movement, from education to legislation to helping mothers in need. Students for Life @FIU is an official chapter of SFL.
Students for Life Action
SFL Action is a branch of Students for Life dedicated to lobbying for pro-life legislation and endorsing Pro-Life candidates in elections.
Standing with You
Standing with You is a branch of Students for Life focused on connecting parents facing an unexpected pregnancy. On their site, you can find verified pregnancy resource centers in your area, no matter where in the country you live. Or chat via text or call to learn more about your options. When facing an unexpected pregnancy, no woman stands alone.
